Nakfa takes its name from the highland city at the heart of Eritrea — a place of resilience, community, and pride. That spirit lives in every injera we lay down, every wot we slow-cook, every coffee ceremony we share.

Our kitchen is built on recipes passed through generations without ever being written down. Learned by watching, by tasting, by helping hands stir the pot. We brought those recipes to Green Lanes, where they belong in a neighbourhood that understands what it means to cook from somewhere.
